AnomalyCon trophy! Stage 1: nearly complete. I’ll spraypaint the hell out of all of this and then coat with vaseline or something so it doesn’t stick to the silicone mould I’ll make for it. But I have real casting silicone SO EXCITED. And proper resin. EVEN MORE EXCITE. Castin’ Craft SUCKS SO BAD AND I HAD TO MAKE 13 TROPHIES OUT OF IT LAST YEAR. I’ve got 1:1 stuff this year.
Lessons thus far:
- plywood is fucking DENSE. It creates nice sharp corners, but gawds be with you if you want to sand it.
- The sticky side of duct tape mates with squishy gel animals to create a horrid sticky gel animal. >_<
- Cancer glue (E6000) is the solution to all life’s problems.
